Earth Day is a reminder to dedicate our time, resources, and energy to solving climate change and other environmental issues. This international celebration of eco-consciousness takes place in more than 190 countries around the globe and is the most widely observed nonreligious holiday in history. This April 22nd is the 53rd annual celebration of Earth Day, and is centered around the theme, “Invest In Our Planet” in the hopes of persuading businesses, governments, and citizens around the world of the need to improve our environment and give future generations a better and safer tomorrow.
